I wanted to find out which backlink indexing strategies work.
So I tested 14 popular indexing methods – but only 3 actually indexed URLs .
You see:
I built a script that automatically generated 200 pages of junk lorem ipsum content on 15 brand new domains:
Here’s an example of what each of the 200 pages looked like after it had been generated by the script:
As you can see, it’s complete spam and each page has 300 words of lorem ipsum content on a brand new domain but zero:
Absolutely nothing!
The idea was to generate the worst possible pages and see which indexers could get Google to crawl AND index the content.

We took all 200 URLs of junk content from the 15 domains and submitted them to different backlink indexers.
This is how we measured the results:
What Will I Learn?
Here is a quick overview of all the data at the end of the test on day 14.
During the test, we only saw visits from Google’s mobile crawler, so we have removed references to that in the data below for simplification.
All of GoogleBots’ visits came from their mobile crawler.
Interestingly submitting the urls to Google’s own tools (pagespeed, rich results, mobile friendly) triggered the Googlebot to visit and crawl all the pages.
However none of them were indexed using Googles own tools.
Ultimately there were 3 tools that stood out:
Out of the 14 indexing methods we tested, only 4 of them brought Google’s bots and only 3 of them actually indexed URL’s.

Elite Link Indexer is a premium backlink indexing service.

These were the only services that triggered both a visit from Google and the actual indexing of the junk lorem ipsum pages we built.
NONE OF THE OTHER TESTED SERVICES TRIGGERED A SINGLE VISIT FROM GOOGLEBOT
Interestingly using Google’s own tools did trigger visits from Googlebot, but resulted in a 0% indexing rate. Perhaps if the pages were not junk lorem ipsum text they might have gotten indexed.

Hi, matt was wondering if it would be feasible or easy to make our own index services. I normally index my sites in a few days which is great im thinking about creating a bot to do the leg work for me.Thing is with indexing each site is different some get indexed within hours others a few days. Some even require a ton more work.

Pinging backlinks is a waste of time, that hasn’t worked for coming on 5 years or so.Are your backlinks indexed in google if you do info:domain.com/the-url

maybe this software used to work like this but i can guarantee you it doesnt now. index rates were no where near what this article implies when i used this software and i put it through all types of links.

thanks matthew!!!just since 2 weeks past i am doing also experiment of index with differents methods….after of 2 weeks i am in 30-40% i will wait to finish month but really i thing will get near 50%. but really hard work because i took ping and rss scrapebox+freeindexer+indexkings+elitelinkindexer(payment-month).perhaps too work hard but my target is yes or yes get index my tiers 1. I studied a lot about the GSA software and in many video the presenter says that not necessary to use indexer service with this program, because if you build multi tier links the tiers helps indexing the backlinks. It is true?
That is true, you can index backlinks with backlinks but that can create a never ending chain 🙂

It also submits de-indexed URLs to indexing services automatically for you via their API’s. It’s great for many things like citations, GSA and just knowing if your links/PBNs fall off G’s index. The pages are probably already indexed in Google so just be patient for Google bot to come along and see them 🙂

Any comparison to ScrapeBox Rapid Indexer Addon, I understand that this is somewhat dependent on the list quality…and I presume decent quality proxies would need to be used…Any ideas?

What a tool that guy was.Sounds like he made some valid points about comparisons to other indexers but you wasted far to much time giving him a platform to rant.But look how well this post has ranked! OneHourIndexing is completely piece of cr*p. It looks like this “service” is just a fraud – NONE of my links were indexed. I’ve uploaded about 10k of them but… nothing! In the end I’ve made a test – 20 not indexed URLs.. After a week – NOTHING! Then I’ve manually submitted 5 of them through “Submit URL” service and… ALL of them were indexed during a day.DONT waste your time and money!
