Before I get into things let me show you proof of my earnings that get paid from my Fiverr account which is less than 40 days old.
As you can see it shows a total of $1,644 earned but has since gone on to earn nearly $2,000. I did all of this using a piece of software I bought for just $67.
So how did I manage to make that much money on Fiverr? First of all, I spent time looking at what other people are having success with to learn how they made money on Fiverr.
At the same time, I spotted an awesome product that helped me create animated videos really quickly.
So the idea for my gig was born – I’m going to create a video animation service offering things like whiteboard videos, 3D animation videos, hand drawn videos etc.
There is no big secret here – I just looked at what other people sold per gig and what I could make quickly and created some relevant gigs.
You could say that preparation met opportunity perfectly!

You can just create a gig for these kinds of videos today on Fiverr and start getting orders the same day – they are hugely popular!
As you can see the orders come flooding in for me to get paid.
You might be wondering how exactly I’m creating the videos and you’ll be glad to know it is really simple.
Not long ago a WSO appeared for Video Maker FX which is a simple piece of software to create animated videos. I paid $67 for it at the time.
The software makes it really easy and quick to make all kinds of different videos for all kinds of businesses in no time at all.
But there are tons of different types of gigs you can offer.Take a look at these 36x methods to make money on Fiverr for example.
So now I’ve shown you what I do and what I use to do it, now all you need to is how to make money on Fiverr yourself.
Just follow the steps below and you will learn how to make money on Fiverr easily-
First of all I bought Video Maker FX and spent time practising making videos of all different types with it.
It took me a couple of weeks of playing but I soon got the hang of being able to make videos quickly.
Once I knew I could produce awesome videos I created my Fiverr Gig.
I kept the title short and simple – “I will Create a Professional Whiteboard Animation Video In 24hours for $5.”
Here are some other titles I have used that did well-
Feel free to play around – you get the idea!
If you do a search for similar gigs you will notice some of them have better images than others that really stand out.
Do some searches and take some inspiration from the gig images that really stand out to you.
Once you have done that you can use PicFont.com to create your Fiverr gig image if you really want to stand out you can also hire someone on Fiverr to do it!
Your description is also a very important part of your gig that you need to get right.
Just like with the images I also search around Fiverr and look at what the other top sellers are doing and use their descriptions as inspiration.
Whatever you do, don’t copy their descriptions or you will get banned. Just use them as inspiration and come up with your own unique description.
One of the most important parts of your gig is setting up the tags and keywords.
A lot of people don’t realise this but having your gig tagged correctly is very important to the ranking of your gig in Fiverr’s search results.
Take a look at the picture above and you will see the tags I used and also set your gig delivery duration to “1 DAY”.
You also have the option of adding a video to your gig to make it stand out. Again this helps to boost rankings and sales so pay attention.
I just used Video Maker FX to make a catchy video for my gig, it doesn’t need to be anything special but shows off the service as well.
Once you have everything set up and your Fiverr gig is live you need to apply the secret sauce to get the gig ranking and sales flowing in.
This has been my secret for about 6 months that I have only shared with a few of my friends. I can rank any gig #1 for any keyword on Fiverr in less than 48 hours for any search term like “video animation”, “USA traffic” and so on.
Here is how I do it-
NOTE: You must have completed the previous steps for this to work.
Create a dummy Fiverr Account and buy your gig twice. Then give your gig a nice positive review (You will only lose $2 when you do this).
Now just send at least 250 fake hits/visitors to your Fiverr gig. This will boost your gigs impressions and make it more visible to cash at hand buyers.
If you don’t know how to get fake visitors, well you can just buy them from Fiverr but don’t go overboard with them.
Make sure you use accurate tags for your gigs and also include the keywords you want to rank for in the title and description.

Well, truth be told I do not do anything to promote my gigs outside of Fiverr. All I do is what I have shared with you in this tutorial.
There are over 1 million buyers on Fiverr so once I have ranked my gigs I do not need to promote them because I already have massive exposure to cash at hand buyers. Of course, if you want to take your freelancer gig to the next level and possibly land large corporate clients in the future, it may make sense to create a graphic design company offering services you can showcase on Fiverr as well.

Don’t ask people to do that for you! They may over do it.I use the Jingling chinese software to send fake traffic to my gig.And you don’t need to send more than 250 hits
Does driving fake traffic help in increasing the ranking of the gig? My gig is good but ranking is bad. Other people with same gig get 10 orders daily whereas i get 0

Hey Michael,first of all I really want to express that I really (and that I mean honestly) like the gentle and friendly way you discuss those controverse topics.Besides the fact that I do not like Seth Godin so much (just my personal opinion) I have to admit that this “fight for rankings” is – from my point of view – forced upon us. In Germany – where I live – we have a proverb “the fish smells from the head” meaning it is Google who preaches one thing and does another. Often times I think, Google’s intentions are mistaken: They say their most important task is to satisfy “searchers”. I personally think their most important task is to sell ads on their virtual real estate. If I apply this behaviour to my actions, I have to say I find it completely ethical (from my point of view) to fight this fight with Google in a way it is forced upon me. Again, just my personal view and not meant to offend you…

Hey Eze,It’s not really about believing the claims, I really don’t care if it’s true or not I just came over to checkout Matthews blog like I usually do and was disappointed by this post so thought I would explain why.Sure it’s possible to make that in your first month, in my first month I didn’t quite hit what you ‘did’ but it was still a lot – what I was getting at was the discrepancies in your claims, like the screenshots – the maths doesn’t add up. And having only $64 in your upcoming earnings would never make 2k per month. Would you share your profile link? It’s not like sharing your profile links is going to blow any secrets is it since you’ve just told us exactly what you have done?Also you say the gig extras is where you make most of your money, but again your upcoming earnings are only $64. And the part of the process that makes you the most money was never mentioned in the article…Matt, I’m not trying to start a war on your comments section I promise ;P

However, there are still some ethical and moral arguments that matter.It can be a long discussion, but putting preaching aside, let me point out two business pragmatic points about being ethical and moral:1. Speaking Seth Godin’s words, your lie (or black hat actions) should be consistent if you still want to look kind of good and ethical (and we still want to look like that, don’t we?).If you don’t look good, your business can be likely destroyed.2. There is a philosophical law, so called The Law of Attraction: Like Attracts Like.So it’s your choice in what circle to live and work – being surrounded by liars and immoral hackers who will steal you passwords from your laptop once you go to the bathroom, or a circle of friends who will support you once you get into a trouble once you get some problems.You choose 🙂
I do not recommend sending fake hits to your gigs in order to raise the impressions. Fiverr checks for conversions. High view numbers with low orders is not a good sign to rank your gig higher.But if you still want to do so, open up scrapebox, at comment poster, use ping mode, edit the referer and add your gigs url.
I think that’s why you make a couple of sales with only 250 hits

About a month ago I put up a couple of gigs to see what could happen with Fiverr. Well, it’s been 30 days and no buyers. I’m sure I’m doing a lot of things wrong, but that’s why I like this post so much.I’ve got Video Maker FX and think that I could do something similar. I’m gonna do what he suggests and first PRACTICE since I haven’t used it a lot. I’ve made a few videos, but none in the past few months.I agree that they key to higher profits is good extras. I’ll look at a bunch of these types of gigs and put in a few that I can do that I think would sell well.Thanks guys!

Hello Matt, Eze, mates!I have joined Fiverr about a year ago as a buyer for my design needs and i am an active seller the last 4-5 months.I would like to give some insight from my point of view.What Eze claims doing here is 100% true and manageable if i can say. You can even push things further and make much more than that per month.Currently there are many ‘businesses’ in Fiverr, delivering about 200-300 orders per day, easily making 15-20k per month if not more..I have used this video making program, it is really neat and easy to provide enjoyable little videos in no time. Ready made templates, that look quite smart and catchy and synching music is dead easy too!What i totally disagree with though is the following. Far too many people have purchased it, they have all built same looking videos, there is no extra creativity added and it looks really ugly having cloned videos providing no real advertising value i think..Videos do indeed increase conversion rates in Fiverr , but videos showing ourselves guys, explainning our service to the community, as humans love buying from other humans.I do not hit VideoFX Maker in any way. This is a great piece of software and i recommend everyone to invest, but let’s not create an illusion that just by uploading such a video, numerous orders will start rolling.Last but not least , Fiverr is 80% customer service , 20% your service.Assuming you are top notch at whatever you do, SEO, Link building, Article writing, Social etc.. you need to be really patient and friendly with everyone’s queries. Customer service is not for everyone. Mat!to be honest there is no way you can rank a gig on fiverr!it is non constant and the algo is purely vague the guy here should post his profile link in order for proof so we can all seei would not advise to go with fake views, personally i have seen many gigs coming up in high rating and then dispersing tomorrow reason is fiverr catches them doing fraudulent stuff fiverr is all about luck if you land visible then perfect if no then you are no where to be found then you wont make bucks

Trying some of Kottons methods!Congrats to the original author also-I wonder if he pushed his profile even more, could he collect even more sales perhaps?I think the trick is to be able to collect the buyers email, and then try further upsells in the future-now that would be awesome..Perhaps visit their site who you made a video for, check out their new content and then preemptively make a video for them-and then give it to themI bet it would turn into a video for each piece of content that have written etc..Dan@twotreesmarketing

No offence meant, but I honestly think this post is no where near in the same league as most of your other posts Matthew, I understand this is a guest post but I always thought you were very strict as to what you allowed to be posted.I’ve been selling on Fiverr since January and turn over more than this guy ‘claims’ per month and there is a lot more to it if you want to be successful of Fiverr. I would actually call his bluff on this, I don’t believe he’s done this in 30 days at all, one thing that shouts out BS is that his upcoming earnings is only $64, but then his screenshot shows 24 orders in his queue even if he sold this one gig with no extras than it’s $96. And let’s just say they were taken at different times, it’s still only $64 upcoming… For me to hit 2k per month I have at least $300 in upcoming earnings at any one time.And I can’t believe, that he has not touched on gig extras – it’s the extras that make you the money on Fiverr!! This guy isn’t a seller.If he had a link to his Fiverr profile it might be believable, at least then we could see his deliveries per day.

Hi,Great content. I find Fiverr has a very low rate of return. I mean if your writing content for customers and offer something around 500-600 words, it can be very hard to actually make money. They take $1 fee from sellers and you end up making $4 from your order. Not to mention the 2 week holding period before you can transfer money into your account. If you receive 6-7 orders, you’ve made $30 (-$1 fee) and writing 3200 words a day which can be tough. You have a deadline and if your late, it hurts your rankings.However,If you have a gig which can be automated, you can make some serious money. The key is to find a way to get huge orders and offer something that can be automated so the work is less and turn around is quick.

Instead of creating a dummy account, you cold also just ask a couple friends to buy from you and refund them the 10 dollars. The only reason I’m worried about this, is that there may be a tonne of people randomly creating video gigs after this post haha. Also, I write content, but I’m scared to write content on fiverr because of the low pay. unless l’m gonna write like 50 word paragraphs.

You know I am embarrassed to say that as soon as I read “from Nigeria” I immediately thought, just for a second.. “hmmm… has Matt finally lost the plot and turned to the bad bad side?”… The stigma associated between the online fraudsters and the country of Nigeria is real aint it? Man that is sad. Of course a second later my better judgement told me … “Na.. what a messed up thought”, so I started reading and glad I did.Well done Eze John. That was a brilliant piece of writing, so simply put and helpful. Sounds like a lot of work but also sounds like a true humdinger of a strategy, implemented will almost certainly make you money.I don’t know why you want to make it harder for yourself though. I am pretty certain Matthew’s readers are pretty savvy when it comes to stuff like this. You just might find your gig will be getting some stiff competition pretty soon dude.But kudos to you, I bet you are making more money than those criminals who who rip off old ladies in 419 land and you can feel good about what you do too, they sure can’t.

I charge $5 for a 30sec video$10 for a 60sec video.And that takes me atleast 10-20minutes to complete each because Video Maker Fx already has inbuilt Pre made templates you can edit to your taste.Thanks

Thats crazy I have been doing the same with videomaker fx and videoscribe. Not sure if it matters but I set up accounts with different proxies and use a software to inflate view count.Having a video and orders in que make it easy to dominate fiverr

The secret sauce is really grey hat ;)I guess if you keep investing a part of your revenue into fake reviews and views you might become a champion on fiverr ;)P.S.: I’ve been wondering for a while if there is a line between ethical and non-ethical stuff in business. When it goes about link building, SEOs are fighting against Google who changes its rules being a monopolist. So SEOs kind of have a moral right to adjust and use different tactics and tricks. But when it goes about fake reviews, it is kind of things that might be a salty thing to speak about aloud if your are not in a private or a black hat world marketing room. No preaching, just thinking… ))

I have to admit that I had these thoughts previously as well. But now I turned more into “this is reality and that’s what’s showing me success”. If it is blackhat, I’ll do it. This is business and not a friendly game (just my 0.02)
I personally think that the key to be successful is not to make another VideoFX gig but look for something that is a) doable in a time frame you mentioned (like 10-20 minutes) and b) is requested from the people out there. One thing one could do to determine what services are requested is have a look at the general subforums of WF, BHW etc. to see, what are the questions people have and if you can solve it. The next step should be to determine the gig extras as far as I can see. Although I promised myself to 1st rank some aff sites (offtopic) and make some money this Fiverr approach to make some quick wins is quite tempting right now… Got my brain juices flowing *lol*
You mention the importance of integrity when interacting with customers. The man is evidently delivering good work that satisfies their needs – that requires effort and accountability. The rank-boosting techniques he describes here would be rendered ineffective if he wasn’t doing good business with the people that hire him.

I haven’t even LOOKED at Fiverr in so long, I forgot you can make some decent coin on there! Congrats for hauling in that kind of cash in that timeframe.Previously I have used Fiverr to sell some short SEO strategies/eBooks and collect leads for my email list, but that was years ago. It’s nice to see Fiverr is still profitable :)I’ve recently found a neat way to do some keyword research relatively fast, I think I’m going to sell it over Fiverr now for some Xmas spending money haha!
