Income reports are an invaluable learning tool for those looking to start a blog and have no idea where to get started.
By looking at the net profit breakdown per month, you should have a better understanding of how successful bloggers like Pat Flynn make money trough display ads, through affiliate marketing & affiliate links, through sell products…
But, I would love you to remember that before thinking about monetizing your blog you should focus on creating great blog content – relevant blog posts will bring you traffic and increase your page views as well as a good user experience.
Indeed, traffic is the key to get income (affiliate income & ad income, among others).
Thank you so much for reading my income proof reports.
A beginner can usually make between $1,000 & $4,000 per month after the first year of starting their blog. Some blogs go on to make in excess of $100,000 per month.
But it really depends on how hard you work. As they say, you get out what you put in and committed full time bloggers can make decent money online.
It will take at least a couple of months for any new blog to start making money online and this takes a lot of time and hard work.
Realistically it will be at least a year before you see a consistent full-time income. There are a lot of varying factors and you need to invest both time and money smartly, as you can see in my blog income reports.
There are a bunch of ways for bloggers to make money blogging including affiliate marketing (thanks to high ticket affiliate programs), Google AdSense, and creating and selling products and social media.
It takes time to get a decent blogging income per month for a beginner.

Just found this website through the scrapebox tutorial and I am definitely glad that I did. You post some quality content! I will be sure to read/watch all of your material. Congrats on the very lucrative months!
Thanks hope it helps you out!
amazing stuff, you are symbol of other blogger like me who did not earn single penny from internet. great effort. done well
Persistence and consistency will win the war 🙂
Hi,Take a look at the link building method used here https://searchlogistics.com/seo/case-studies/black-hat-seo-spam/ and do that on a couple of smaller affiliate sites, you’ll learn a lot.
I’m looking to do affiliate sites over several markets and depending on how it goes possibly am e-commerce site in the plumbing industry. I don’t mind black hat SEO at all, especially for the affiliate sites but would probably be a bit more careful with the plumbing site. Thanks so much for your time, Eddie
Hey Matt, congrats on all of your hard earned success. I think it’s time to take the plunge into the world of SEO but I would like to ask you a question before I do.What tools would you recommend I start with? Thanks,Eddie
What are your goals with the SEO campaign?
Hi, Matthew! That’s great share. Your post can’t help me to make my money. But it help me to know that nothing is impossible. I though some people that I’ve known, they can earn $5000-$6000/month. But, $171,782.80, wow, it’s unbelievable. If you can earn big money, i can earn a small part in your money, may be $300, $500/month. That’s enough for me. Thank you so much!PS: Sorry because I’m not good at English.
Thanks – its been a lot of hard work but you can see the results for yourself!Good luck with your own ventures!
What other traffic sources have you explored? Starting with SEO/Link building is a bad idea, thats the final piece of the puzzle not the first.
I dont understand the question sorry
hi matt,Its me again, i just love coming back to your site so you can’t stop me from visiting it all over again haha. This time i just want to ask because im just curious on what are those affiliate stuffs you’ve been selling?Regards,
Hi Matt, I’m one of your fan and I say fantastic videos out there, it helps me alot. Actually im just starting into seo, i have no problem with my niches, and site monetization, but I have a big problem with TRAFFICS, as you know no traffics = no money, so I came across to one of your videos(TIER LINKS BUILDING) and that was very awesome and precise. However, I already bought GSA+ all other needed tools except for article spinner and that your video is for ULTIMATE DEMON software only, I also watched your other video on GSA but its not like the same as the tier building video using UD. as the one guy above commented I am too looking forward for your tutorial on a tier link building using GSA. thanks and Hope to see more tutorials from you soon.
You are really making good numbers here…you encourage me to work harder!! thanks Matthew.
Work hard play hard

Great Guide.. I am surprised that you only get 34K organic Traffic per month… I can get that in one day or one hour with Paid marketing… I love SEO though, something so fascinating about it.I found your blog because I saw your video guide on SEnuke.. I love this Software :).Have you ever Done Joint Ventures or ever considered/interested of starting a Joint venture partnership??I was interested in talking with you about a JV partnership. Email me.
Well it depends on the type of traffic you target. I always target low traffic high intent keywords for the most part. The only JV I’m running is http://www.rankcracker.co.uk/affiliate/
Hi Daniel,How much are you paying for your traffic per day and what sort of conversion rates have you been getting?
A tremendous growth and true sign of hard work along with smart work hope u make it double in next year along with teaching us true knowledge to rankthanks.
Thats very kind of you thanks 🙂 I’m not looking to increase profits any further though.

Load of bullshit you make no money like this
Haters gonna hate, and be unsuccessful. https://searchlogistics.com/work/growth/successful-people-vs-unsuccessful-people/
Dear Matte,I must admit that your blogs are full of great information. I came to know about you from Lewis Ogden who is the owner of Cloud Income from his guest post in your website. There is one thing I would like to mention. The GSA members forum is so huge and the information is mostly scattered. The GSA tutorial which you uploaded was very good and exactly what I was looking for. Thanks for that!Hopefully you would share a detailed GSA tutorial series something like that of Tiered Link Building 1,2 and 3 which you already have. Best of luck!
Hi,Thanks for your kind words – I could take a look at that, let me know what you would want to see.
Where is all women on here? lolI am London based. I have only started few months ago blogging about my property business. My viewers are building up as time goes on. I also have two other bloggs.I want to advertise on my blog. Just like you have done using the rightside to advertise. I have been reading your site with interest and how to do it. I am still alittle lost. How do you attract advertisers and sell the space?Julie
There are a couple of girls featured in the income report roundup!Have a read of https://searchlogistics.com/blogging/make-money/banner-ads/
This can surely inspire a lot of newbie bloggers to give heart to blogging and other online income sources…!
I hope so 🙂
Wow really great incomes congratulations I wish you more success in your blogging career. Thanks
Thanks for your kind words Rose!
I was wondering what your conversion percentage was for the month of November 2013 out of your posted 31,509 visitors?…I friend of mine told me that if I could get 0.03% conversion rate that would be awesome…just curious…thank you in advance.
Hi,8.81% – http://i.imgur.com/nJxn2F9.jpgDepends what you are doing though – although any campaign that performed at 0.03% need some serious serious work. I would even expect PPV traffic to convert better than that!
Wow really great incomes. Do you think this is only possible on american markets or do you think a french blogger can also earn that much money ?best regards
Hi,You can make money in any market
Hey , do you do any media buying ? Facebook , adwords etc ? I think a lot of people would be interested in that type of videos .
On the list for the future 🙂
Hi mathew, are you earning this from adsense or any other source? It would be rly helpful,so i can also work out with it 😀
Please read the income reports that explains it all 🙂
Wow! Matt you are an inspiration to us struggling to make it in internet marketing. How I wish I could I could have just a quarter of your success. Going through your posts has at least given me the belief that I too can make it. I like the idea of not just relying on google for traffic but also getting traffic from forums. I also wish I had concentrated on affiliate marketing income other than adsense. I will put the lessons in practice and hope that by Christmas I too should hit at least £1,000 a month.
You are in control of your own success, nothing to do with luck or wishing :)Hustle Hustle 🙂
Hi Matthew,I stumbled across your site about a month ago and i’m really impressed at how fast you’ve been able to grow your blog since it’s launch last August. I started my blog in April of that year and made a lot of mistakes due to it being my first ever blog and didn’t do much outreach or promotions until January 2013 when i launched my first Guest Post.I’m actually pretty frustrated with it at the moment since i’ve yet to make a dime in sales and have made about a pound in sales from launching my first amazon kindle book. I wanted to ask, is there a possibility to make as much money on affiliates in personal development as you’re doing in the internet marketing niche?I want to do a similar model to yours by doing reviews and including affiliate links to get people to buy but from what i’ve seen, there isn’t any tools in the personal development niche, aside from self-help books i’ve been writing and making video reviews about and linking them to amazon affiliate links.Would love to hear your thoughts.
Hi Onder,Thanks for your kind words :)I wouldn’t worry about your past mistakes, thats the best way to learn :)If there isn’t any decent online resources/tools for personal development, well…. someone has to create them ^^
Wow, your income reports is the dream every blogger wishes to make blogging. Congrads Matthew and I wish you more success in your blogging career.
Thank you for your kind words 🙂
Hi Matt,You are such an inspiration. I have been wanting to do the same but I just don’;t know where to start. I am new in SEO and trying to learn as much.
Start here – https://searchlogistics.com/blogging/how-to-start-blog-and-make-money/
Hi Matthew,Great blog and very interesting read. How do you breakdown your expenses? I mean you have your domain and hosting which is obvious, but what about subscriptions to the various SEO companies and services? What are the costs for these?
Hi,I dont use any SEO companies or services on this website
Matthew, I’ve been following along for a week now. Your videos are fantastic and I am glad to see your blog is doing well. I am trying to follow your advise and make a go of it on a small scale myself. I can’t afford all of the software, or really much at all, but I’ve got the basics (Scrapebox, Captcha Sniper, and I’ve got my Proxies, hosting, and domains). Can’t wait to make some $$$ and try out the awesome programs you use in your videos. On a random side note, your headshot video in the FPS was awesome. No scoping while jumping, pretty insane.
Hi,Thanks very much :)Just follow https://searchlogistics.com/blogging/traffic/target-audience/ – no moneys needed 🙂 The most valuable tutorial on the entire site & the precise strategy I have used to grow traffic to the blog. The no scope is less impressive when you consider in MOHAA the sniper rifle was point n click, scoped or not it always hit dead center 🙂
really awesome… thanks for sharing useful tutorial for us .
No problem =D
Just stumbled on your site, good reading thus far.
Hi,Hopefully I dont let you down Ray!
Impressive, Matt and thanks for publishing to encourage usHave a nice weekend
No worrys :)You should publish your own income reports! I’ll include them in my roundup
No worrys – hit up the forum with any more detailed questions you have!
Hey,Awesome, thanks for the tips!
Hi,Well given there is nothing to actually sell for the PS4 at the moment your going to have a tough time finding offers. So instead of pushing offers, collect user data so you can market to them when there are offers to promote.
Hi,Matthew. Thanks for your wonderful videos which I consider the best video I’ve ever seen specially the link analysis one, may be some people know how to do it less want to share what they know I wish you success and to achieve your life goals and please do some videos about keyword research and keyword competition analysis with a life example just as you did in the great link analysis vid.
Hi,Thanks very muchI’ll be covering those topics in a much bigger tutorial series soon!
Hi,Thanks for getting back. Sorry if this sounds newbie but I have no idea where to use “ad spots to collect data” I can engage the user’s as I am good at writing but have no idea where and how I can get ads and make little income.Would it be possible if you provide me some links I can register to get ads for a gaming blog? Thanks
Hi Matthew,Fellow Brit here, I also have a blog which has a decent stream of visitors and ranks really well for a key word. BUT I need help actually getting money.I read you income reports and you are making plenty from your affiliates, would you recommend what advertiser’s I should place for my PS4 blog? any ideas mate.Thank You

No worrys, you know where I am if you have any other questions!
Wow! You making a great deal of monry from im. Are these the amount you earned from this blog only? Do you mind explainig a bit how you make so much money from the relatively little amounts of visitor you get? You are making approx 1$ per visitor. That’s incredible! Thanks again for the tutorials.
Hi,Take a look at https://searchlogistics.com/seo/link-building/zero-links/ to understand my approach with this blog and then take a look at https://searchlogistics.com/blogging/traffic/target-audience/ which is my traffic strategy. Its all about the content for the most part though! And actually the ‘value per visitor’ is much greater than that when you take into account social shares, email sign ups, people talking about them in forums, telling friends in the pub etc etc For one month 1 in every 2.5 people socially shared the content.
Thanks, Matthew for your advice. Only time and work left behind will tell whether I am on the right track. Once again Thumbs Up for your great tutorials.Regards
Hi,Ahhh I Know Michael, he is a top banana 🙂 We have spoke a few times in the past over at Traffic Planet. Thanks for the link!Sounds like your on a steady path!My only advice would be to make it a goal/target to reduce search traffic and grow traffic from elsewhere – that might well save your bacon one day 🙂
Please refer to this Youtube Channel. Videos are not much but also give good value and alternative SEO techniques. Among all mentioned by you , since I’ve watched all of your videos , this guy has created quite a unique Private Blog Network, which has nothing to do with all private blogs already Deindexed by lastest Google updates. Just have a quick look when you find some time. https://www.youtube.com/user/PRPlunder/videosI was a total newbie by the beginning of 2012. Now I’ve watched and used a lot of tools and it’s about time to stop just watching tutorials, but to take action. I have one 5 month old already health and fitness blog with more than 30 articles on it for specific Keywords. It has grown to PR2 since the last PR update these days and I haven’t done any Tiered Link Building on it at all. Just used that guy’s Blog Network and Posted around 1,2 articles a day there. All the content was unique, but done with The Best Spinner and Content Spiffer. All the articles that I posted there get indexed really fast with simply posting a link in Hootsuite or Socialoomph. Have a look at the screenshot belowhttp://imageshack.us/a/img202/136/201302081212.pngThis is a free tracking tool that I use from time to time.Kind Regards
Matthew , you really understand what you are doing quite well. I should say that your videos are the best that I found in 2012 related to Internet Marketing. All you tips are up to date and give a lot of value. I already purchased one product from your aff. link based on one of your Tutorials. Just wondering – can you make a tutorial to explain what do you use to spice up your videos – how do you make your intros , outros , what Tool do you use to edit them , how do you put some Fancy Twitter , Facebook , URL Pop ups into your videos.Keep the good work ! Regards
Hi,Thank you very much :)Out of interest what other videos did you find in 2012 that you liked?A tutorial about making videos? A couple of people have requested that recently – its on the list! But for the most part its Adobe After Effects 🙂
